The Water Resources Division has released 8 annual State of the Water Resource reports for 2024-25. This means every water plan now has an annual report, which is a major achievement for division.
Lower compliance costs and stronger building protections
Amendments to the following regulations will commence on 30 March 2026 to reduce compliance costs, improve consumer protections, and strengthen the operation of fidelity fund schemes: Building (RBI and Fidelity Fund Schemes) Regulations 2012, Building Regulations 1993 and Building (Resolution of Residential Building Works Disputes) Regulations 2012.
