Social, cultural and economic studies for the Beetaloo Sub-basin

The aim of social, cultural and economic studies was to:

  • develop a point-in-time baseline across a region
  • to identify valued aspects that may be sensitive to development
  • consider the potential cumulative impacts of multiple projects.

To establish a baseline for social, cultural and economic environments, it was important to collect data and information about values, beliefs, goals, aspirations and attitudes.
