Water Resources Division connects with future professionals at CDU Careers Fair
The 2026 CDU Engineering & Environment Careers Fair saw an impressive turnout.
With 168 students attending to meet and connect with industry representatives about graduate roles, work integrated learning (WIL) opportunities, and future career pathways.
Jessica Argent, Tobiah Amery and Charlotte Thompson attended the CDU Casuarina Campus to represent the Water Resources Division and provide a strong divisional presence.
The day was a great success, with many students showing particular interest in the water model, which was set up loud and proud on display.
The interactive model proved to be a real drawcard, with crowds gathering around to watch how water moves through the different layers and to ask questions about groundwater, aquifers and the work of the Water Resources Division.
It was also great to have Charlotte attend as a graduate representative for the Water Resources Division, providing firsthand insight into her role and sharing what she has taken away from the experience so far.
Overall, it was a good day and a busy one, ending with a number of valuable conversations and connections made with students interested in future opportunities within the water sector.
