Request for proposals - Holtze land release

The Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics (DIPL) released a request for proposals (RFP) for the development of a residential subdivision on Crown land in Holtze in November 2022.

The site, zoned FD (future development), is approximately 46.5 hectares of Crown land within the Litchfield municipality. It is located adjacent to the Palmerston Regional Hospital and within good proximity to existing social and commercial infrastructure including the Palmerston CBD, the Yarrawonga commercial precinct and Howard Springs community facilities.

The site is bound by Linco Road to the south, Taylor Road to the east, the future extension of Gunn Point Road to the north and Crown land intended for a future Holtze Activity Precinct to the west.

DIPL will make the land ready for development by building district level infrastructure such as water and sewer mains and electrical feeders.

RFP registrations closed on Friday 10 March 2023.

Registered proponents were invited to attend an industry briefing in November 2022.
