The Regulatory Statement outlines the laws and policies that apply to greenhouse gas emissions in the NT and support the NT’s target of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

The former Large Emitters Policy was in place from 2021 to 2024 and was rescinded to remove duplication in requirements.
