Regulatory Efficiency Program

The Department of Lands, Planning and Environment has streamlined and accelerated environmental and natural resource approvals as part of an overarching Regulatory Efficiency Program whilst maintaining existing assessment rigour.

These are the most significant reforms of the Northern Territory’s environmental laws and regulations since self-government.
