The Daly River Water Advisory Committee provides advice and recommendations on the implementation of various plans to the department and minister.

Responsibilities

The committee will be responsible for:

  • developing the plan for Katherine by 2025 and the Daly River by 2027 onwards
  • finalising the plan for Katherine by 2026
  • implementing the plan for Oolloo by 2024 onwards and Katherine 2026 onwards
  • providing feedback and advice on water resource management from time to time.
