About us
The Department of Lands, Planning and Environment (DLPE) was established to support the Northern Territory’s economic development and protect our natural and cultural assets through integrated planning, evidence-based advice and efficient regulation.
DLPE has the following divisions:

- Flora and Fauna
- Mining Regulation
- Office of Water Security
- Land Resources Division
- Water Resources
The department has one minister and operates in various locations across the NT.
